Privacy notice
Short version: we only use what you send us to answer your enquiry, arrange the job you have asked for, and invoice. Nothing is sold or handed to marketing lists.

Who we are
This website is run by Simple Jobs, a sole-trader business in Sandwich, Kent. We are responsible for the personal information described here. Contact us on WhatsApp or by phone on 07763 100477. You can ask us at any time for the name of the person responsible and we will tell you.
What we collect
- Name, phone number, email, your town or postcode, which job you are asking about, and the details you submit through the contact form.
- Photos and messages you send us on WhatsApp or by email relating to a job.
- Basic server access logs (IP and user agent) kept by our host for security.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, arrange and carry out the job you have asked for, and keep the records required for accounting and insurance purposes. Legal basis: legitimate interest for replies, and performance of a contract once a job is agreed.
How long we keep it
Job and invoice records are kept for at least six years after a job ends, in line with normal accounting requirements. We keep a record of enquiries, chats and our dealings with you. If you would like your own record deleted, contact us and we will do it.
Who else sees it
Nobody routinely. The form submits through our hosting provider and sends email through an email delivery service to our business inbox. We do not sell or rent contact details to anyone.
Website statistics
We count visits to this site, for statistics only, using our own counting tool. It sets no cookies and does not store your IP address. For each page view it records the page, the site you came from, any campaign label in the link you used, your country (approximate) and whether the visitor looks like a person or a robot. To count unique visitors it uses an identifier. We do not share this data with anyone except our hosting provider, which stores it on our behalf. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. If you click 'Don't count my visits' in the footer, we remember your choice in this browser with one small local-storage flag called na_ignore; our counter stores nothing else in your browser. You can object at any time using the link in the footer, or contact us using the details above. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our site.
Your rights
You can ask to see a copy of what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted. Contact us and we will reply within a month. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
The site itself does not set any cookies. If you choose 'Don't count my visits', we store one small flag in your browser's local storage, described under Website statistics. The site does not embed third-party video.
